Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boris Shishkov Chair of BMSD 2024

Dear Friends, the first BMSD symposium took place in 2011 at Hilton Sofia Hotel in Bulgaria, followed by BMSD-Geneva-2012 (CH), BMSD-Noordwijkerhout-2013 (NL), and BMSD-Luxembourg-2014 (LU). And we are back in Luxembourg, 10 years after Luxembourg-2014. It was a long and winding road between BMSD-LU-2014 and BMSD-LU-2024: Italy, Greece, Spain, Austria, Portugal, Germany, Bulgaria, Switzerland, and The Netherlands. I'm so proud to have been the Chair of this inspiring symposium in all those years. I'm so proud to have had the passion and strength to establish and lead BMSD. I'm so proud to be part of the BMSD Community - the dearest achievement. This Community is delivering impressive scientific production and is a Community of close Friends who love to meet each other at different symposium editions, being also happy to welcome new Community members. We never closed BMSD, even in the difficult years of 2020 and 2021 (Berlin 2020 and Sofia 2021 were fantastic editions). Now we all look forward to BMSD 2024 - the 14th BMSD symposium will take place in Luxembourg. For this we hugely appreciate the support of the BeNeLux software Communities. I look forward to meeting you for a great Luxembourg-2024 edition of BMSD! Stay well!!
