Following eight very successful editions of BMSD - the International Symposium on Business Modeling and Software Design, namely Sofia'11, Geneva'12, Noordwijkerhout'13, Luxembourg'14, Milan'15, Rhodes'16, Barcelona'17, and Vienna'18, we are pleased to announce BMSD 2019.
BMSD is a leading international forum that brings together researchers and practitioners interested in business modeling and its relation to software design. Particular areas of interest are:
(i) Business Processes and Enterprise Engineering;
(ii) Business Models and Requirements;
(iii) Business Models and Services;
(iv) Business Models and Software;
(v) Information Systems Architectures and Paradigms;
(vi) Data Aspects in Business Modeling and Software Development;
(vii) Blockchain-Based Business Models and Information Systems;
(viii) IoT and Implications for Enterprise Information Systems. Each year, a special theme is chosen, for making presentations and discussions more focused. The BMSD'19 theme is:
